Penthesilea is named after an Amazonian queen in Greek mythology. She was the daughter of Ares and Otrera and fought to defend Troy in the Trojan War. Amazonite has an energy as brave and powerful as the women warriors with whom it is connected to. Some call it the Stone of Courage and believe it aids the wearer in aligning with their own values and beliefs, regardless of opposition.
Penthesilea is made of natural amazonite wrapped in antiqued and polished copper. She stands approximately 2 inches tall by 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch deep. She comes on an adjustable hemp cord.
